Meadows of Dan, Virginia
A quiet guesthouse nestled in the Blue Ridge foothills — where slow mornings, starlit evenings, and the rhythm of the countryside become your escape.
Our Story
Pondview Guesthouse sits on a quiet stretch of Squirrel Spur Road, far enough from the noise to hear yourself think, and close enough to the heart of Meadows of Dan to feel like home.
We opened our doors for travelers who want more than a bed — they want a sense of place. A porch to sit on. A view that doesn't need a filter. The kind of stay where you leave feeling like you've rested somewhere that matters.
Accommodations
Each room is thoughtfully appointed with natural materials, soft linens, and views that invite you to linger a little longer.
A warm, sunlit retreat with a king bed, private porch access, and views of the surrounding woodlands.
Intimate and serene, featuring a queen bed, a reading nook, and a window framing the distant ridge line.
Our largest accommodation — a sitting room, a king bed, and a private garden terrace overlooking the pond.
The Experience
We believe a great stay is made of small, intentional moments — the first sip of coffee on a quiet porch, the sound of wind through the pines, the way the light changes in the late afternoon.
Meadows of Dan is a gateway to some of Virginia's most beautiful countryside, and Pondview is your base camp for exploring it at your own pace.
Hike scenic trails through the Jefferson National Forest, just minutes from our door.
Discover the Blue Ridge wine country with tastings at nearby vineyards and cider houses.
Explore the charming towns of Danville and Meadows of Dan for shops, restaurants, and history.
Wander our wooded paths, sit by the pond, or simply watch the sky change over the hills.
